Week One Hundred

Team America
(Elder Griffin, Elder Clifford and Elder Herrmann)

Alright here we go, let's get the latest weekly letter going. This week was awesome! Let me start off with the funny story of the week. Warning: The following includes accidental disobedience.

Around Thursdayish we were out working and we get a phone call from our Ward Mission Leader Daniel, asking us to meet up with him in the town center. Well, we weren't about to say no so we ran on down to the town center to see what the heck was going on and we met up with Daniel. He sees us and gets super excited like he always does and just looks at us and says "Aldo". I was like what the heck does that mean but he just explained that its a saying from where he's from, but yeah he continues and he says that he found the perfect spot to do the baptism next week and he wanted to take us to go check it out to make sure that it would be legal. Well, we decided that we would go check it out but only if it was 1. close by and 2. far away from tourists. So, he promises us that there are 1 no tourists and 2. its like 15 minutes away and we start walking. Well 30 minutes of walking go by and I realized that we were headed to the other side of the bay of Zihuatanejo, and I was like what the heck, this is totally not close. So I told Daniel that we were going back and he said no, we're super close. We keep walking another 15 minutes, get to the beach head, and start climbing rocks to get to this so called secret baptizing spot. Well, what was our surprise when we get on the other side of the rocks and find ourselves smack dab in the middle of tourist beach land. Before us were around 200 tourists on a beach tanning and playing in the water. I was stressed out and turned back and the brother grabs me and says, Elder, we can't go back now, it's on the other side of the beach, there's no one there. Elder Herrmann also looked nervous. We went anyways. Well, we got around a million pictures taken of us and a million women hitting on us but we somehow survived and got to the secret baptizing spot, only to find a freaking bikini model shoot going on at the secret baptizing spot. We didn't even bother to check it out and told the brother thanks and hurriedly made our way back to the town center. Needless to say, it was some intense stuff and we are now thinking about baptizing in the church just to save all the pain in the butt preparations. Haha it was super funny though.

Other than that this was a good week. A super spiritual moment I had was one night when I was preparing for bed and I just felt the simple small whisper of the spirit tell me that Heavenly Father loves me and that everything is in my favor to continue progressing and become as He is. It was very comforting to me and it helped me out a lot.
That's about it.
