Week Seventy Nine

Hello family!

I hope that you have had a great week! This week was a really fantastic week! We've been working non stop and honestly I've never had this many investigators since my first area in my mission. Each morning when we pray to be led to the people who are searching for the gospel it seems like we are finding them. It's insane but I'm super happy to see so many blessings.

One of the great experiences we had took place in Taretan! We can only visit once a week because like I said its kind of far away and there's almost no way to plan for it. But the members there need our help so we try to go as often as possible. Well this week we went and we sat down with the Branch President and talked about the branch's needs and how we could help. He told us his plans he had made and we checked our watches and realized that we had like an hour before it was time to go home. We asked him if he knew anyone that we could teach that lived close to there since its kind of hard to find people to teach in the pueblo. He told us that he had a brother in law that never liked to listen to the missionaries and that had always said no, but that if we wanted he would ask if him if he would like to meet with us. Well his son ran to the guys house and next thing you know we were there teaching him. It was a great lesson and he committed to be baptized in March. I learned from this experience that it doesn't hurt to be direct or to ask sometimes. Afterwords they got some coconuts off their tree, and cut them open and we drank coconut and then we ate the insides. Never done that before but it was awesome haha!

I will be studying the second Article of Faith among other things this week!

Be well!

Elder Clifford
