Week Forty Nine

Elder Clifford's zone, Zona de Aeropuerto, the day they met President and Hermana Egginton

It’s Monday.

This week was kind of a crazy week but it was pretty good. We started off with preparation day and we found a new investigator. He didn’t believe that I spoke Spanish at first and the whole time he was talking to my companion until I answered one of his questions, then he was all surprised, like “You speak Spanish?” Yeah bro, I’ve got like a year in Mexico. It was just kind of funny to see the look of surprise on his face I think.

Wednesday we got to meet President and Hermana Egginton! They are awesome. I look forward to working with them for the next year. I had the opportunity to talk with them and found out that they live way close to where I live back home. Like 5 minutes away or something like that.

Then Friday I got to go to Salvatierra to give a baptismal interview to the investigator of Elder Jones and Elder Lopez. We had to stay the night over there and we had a blast haha.

That’s about all that happened. Have a great week!

Elder Clifford

Elder Clifford's mother and baby sister had the privilege of meeting President and Hermana Camarillo last week when they were visiting family in Provo!!  They are amazing.  Our entire family loves them so much and are so grateful to them for their service and for looking after Elder Clifford for us.
