Week Twenty One

(picture from our skype!!)
(this was his "I'm trying to figure out what was just said and how to reply in English" look!)

So not a lot happening this week. I’ve got some really great investigators but like always I just need some more time with them.

Great experience of the week….. I’d have to say that Christmas was a great experience. It’s really different to spend Christmas alone but I’d have to say that it was my favorite Christmas of all time. I didn’t have any special dinner. I didn’t spend any time with my family, but it just felt like a really special day. We left for our district meeting in the morning and it was a blast. Everyone bought candy and a piñata and we just went ham on the piñata. After we went to an investigators house and had dinner and taught a lesson with him. He’s a really great guy and his only doubt right now is the Book of Mormon. He said that he didn’t have a clear answer that its true and he wants a clearer answer. Well, his brother totally grilled him and was like no we don’t need to see an angel we don’t need a huge experience with it, part of this process is showing our faith to God and He will give us an answer. It was a lot deeper than that short description but that went on for around 15 minutes and it was really powerful. So now were just waiting for his next interview.

Let’s see. Funny experience of the week….. I’d have to say talking with my family was the funniest experience. I had to turn off the Spanish hahaha. It was really weird because I haven’t actually had a conversation other than sending emails every week in English in a long time. I can’t imagine how bad my English is going to be by the end of two years. But yeah let’s just say that it was a little bit eye opening!

Hope all is well and that you all have a good new year! Make good choices!
